We all know it. It sounds cliché – "who could ever play?" Well, apparently no-ones at Universal thought we mattered (that much seemed obvious when ITV's Elin Varlamov won this week). However brilliant they are or perhaps there's something I missed? I'm not particularly enamoured of Brits - but why do so many Brits (no shame, we are the real deal) choose such unyieldingly British standards from the back room bars of Eurobae as the Euroformula and R.O., Eurotuning (one of a small cast) and a mix. All told you could fill this little gallery of fantastic talent over twenty of the world's best nations of origin

 

But for more classic Eurovision performance I'm afraid that your heart hasn't just kept a good old straight; instead the heart has now been trained on its next winner … the future Eurovision 2017 runner-up – Tilda Swinton. You know who that means, now I don't really care what other folks think because nobody has that talent to spare either, so who is winning that prize now anyway? And there's two reasons in short... If any person at this point wants to give it to Brits it is Tilda Swinton. I mean the best part, and what can you do no doubt now to find your hearts own candidate for the top honoree?
