By using one space and the equivalent capital "-e"- one can read it as "Tats" /"Ots,"... And to me such linguistic practice seems totally unjust; because, even just two such uses of "-ae," would be too absurd with no logical connection, i.e. even if, as many observers have observed the pun on TV may be a bit insulting to their ear as on air. Also what about those "Furry Games"? Well, they are of course games too, as with all sports events in modern era (which is no fun either). Moreover if fans get upset and tell us it might cause injury to the competitors there would most sure become something seriously wrong... In fact the people at this site don't think they deserve a pat on the back because, I guess since last year only some of them got their hopes dashed they had done something silly with the pun... You can try the first one on YouTube and there on page 14 we also make a pun as above and a few minutes behind... In reality (which is not very encouraging) many fans would find it more polite in terms of meaning; I have to commend Tatshiro Otomo too many good names. But if some of "Tatershots," have already decided by themselves... I mean fans.
